As a small agency, our clients have direct contact
with all of the people in our company. Our top executives are involved

Michael H. Goldberg,,CEO
B.S. New York University: J.D. St. John's University School of Law
After completing his law degree, Michael joined
the Securities and Exchange Commission. In 1973, he joined the American
Basketball Association as General Counsel and guided the merger
with the NBA. In 1981, Michael founded NMG and built it into a highly
respected service company serving the needs of Fortune 500 Companies.
His connection with leaders of the professional sports leagues,
television networks, and the business community has helped shape
NMG into one of the leading independent sports & entertainment companies
in the country. He currently also serves as Executive Director of
the NBA Coaches Association and represents many sports television
broadcasters, producers and directors.
Sid Schechter, COO
B.S. Brooklyn College: M.S. Temple University
Sid has created over 100 grass roots programs for
NMG clients since joining the firm in 1985. His background in events
and understanding of the corporate marketing process helps clients
achieve marketing objectives with activities that benefit participants.
Sid is the lead architect of strategic planning at NMG and has worked
with a wide variety of NMG clients to establish and plan targeted
marketing campaigns. Previously, Sid served as Recreation Services
Director at Temple University for five years. As an independent
consultant prior to joining NMG, he created and managed the Presidential
Fitness Festivals and Fitness Manual for the President's Council
on Physical Fitness and Sports as well as the first International
Symposium for Health and Fitness in conjunction with the Physician
and Sports Medicine and the Association for Fitness in Business.
Adam M. Poe,Director, Sales and Marketing
B.A. Washington College(MD)
After completing a successful college basketball
career, Adam decided to combine his love for sports with his drive
for business. Coming to NMG in 1997, Adam has risen to Director,
Sales and Marketing. Heading new business efforts in recent years,
Adam has been NMGÕs most successful sales representative recruiting
new clients such as Gatorade, Got Milk? Allied Domecq Spirits and
Wine, "O"- The Oprah Magazine, Coca-Cola, AARP, Popular Science
and Health Magazine. In addition to his sales responsibilities,
Adam has dedicated himself to providing unmatched client services
to NMG clients.
Tina Gargiulo, Director of Event Marketing
B.A. Rutgers University M.A. University of Maryland
After spending 3 years on the administrative staff
at Columbia University, Tina joined NMG in 1997 as a collegiate
event specialist managing programs for Schick, S.C. Johnson, and
MCI. TinaÕs skill in supervising national programs with regional
staff led to assignments for major grass roots events for NIKE and
Lady Foot Locker and Allied Domecq, as well as added value magazine
events for Health Magazine, SELF Magazine, AARP, and "O"-The Oprah
Magazine. Tina understands consumer attitudes and the administrators
mind-set, which allows her to integrate programming elements that
help to achieve the established business objectives of the NMG clients.
Karen McGuire, Executive Assistant
and Office Manager
B.A. Queens College
Karen joined the NMG team in 1998 as the Executive
Assistant for the NBA Coaches Association and the Executive Assistant
and Office Manager of National Media Group. She handles multiple
responsibilities ranging from NBA Coaches Association correspondence
and tracking Coaches Dues to assisting with various NMG programs.
Karen's patience, ability to multi-task and great client rapport
derives from her prior career as a habilitation specialist for autistic
children and her B.A. in Sociology from Queens College.
