The Brunswick Intercollegiate Bowling Championships were held at the Univ. of Wisconsin in Madison in 1999. Hosted by actor-comedian David Alan Grier, the event brought together the top 16 men’s and women’s collegiate bowling teams in the nation. NMG struck a deal to televise the event on ESPN2, and worked with Strike Ten Entertainment to integrate Brunswick as the Title Sponsor. NMG also produced the championships in a major arena setting, a first for this annual collegiate event.
